I am a typical young adult with a busy and hectic schedule, juggling work, culinary school & family responsibilities. I grew up in Southern California, up in the Los Padres National Forest, where I developed my love for hiking and snowboarding. I used to hate cooking and baking when I was younger, never desiring to learn anymore than I had to. I began to gear my creativity and artistic talents toward fashion designing, but the epiphany started when I saw how I could incorporate my art into cooking and baking. I soon became obsessed with decorating cakes and pastries and the plating presentations. I enrolled in culinary school and from there I found my niche in life. I am still a student, but I have opportunities to practice outside of the kitchen through the food service management company I work for, acting as a baker & decorator for their large caterings.
