What is your profession
Growing up my father was a pastry chef/caterer and I was always observing and helping him with small tasks (as well as probably getting in his way!) My love for cooking grew stronger throughout the years and I finally decided to refine my techniques a bit and attend culinary school. I graduated from The Institute Of Culinary Education in NYC in 2005, interned at Tabla Restaurant NY, and have been catering and event planning ever since. I'm also very passionate when it comes to healthy eating and healthy living. I became certified as a Health & Wellness Coach, AADP, from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition which focuses on a more holistic diet as well as lifestyle choices. As a certified health coach and culinary nutrition specialist; I love teaching simple culinary techniques, easy recipes, and healthy tips with others. I have been hired as a consultant for companies like NYC Department of Health and NYC Department of Education. I have volunteered my services with many non-profit organizations such as City Harvest and was honored to attend Michelle Obama's Chefs Move To School campaign in Washington DC to stop childhood obesity in America.
