In May 2008, Judy Asman, John Alexander and Nathan Gilder coordinated an interview and information session on the topic of how the economy should... and should not... affect staff training in restaurants.
The 20+ minute interview provides valuable information and insights based on John's many years in the Industry and current activities with CHART.
Here's an opportunity, fun and easy, and will only take a minute!

Hi Nathan, couponcuisine.com is a great site! The business model is clean and well thought out. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some thoughts on my current model and if you have possible leads. I am in the Seattle area and I would also be happy to send referrals your way.
Thanks for the tip on the Flip video camera on restaurantrevolution - but the link is broken. ;
Not sure how to private message, but you can email me and I'll get you my number. I'm ramart103 at that place that Yoodles.
My wife is a Cowboy fan, I am a diehard Packer Backer. It makes for interesting dinner conversation! She wanted to bet me last year on the match-up, if I lost, I'd have to wear a cowboy cheerleader suit. I don't think so! She's Nina Martin on this site and invites you to contact her. She's a hoot Nathan, you'll enjoy the conversation!
Well, all for now. Take care and we'll talk soon!
Hey Nathan! I'm back.....kind of. My laptop is giving me issues, but I think I have it fixed. OKC was a great move. I'm at a place called Nonna's in the Bricktown section of the city(real hot spot). The Dave Mathews Band played across the street last night and we got hit hard. Nice to get back into the kaos though. When we got to town, we hit the job market hard. Think I landed in a great restaurant, they have a web site if you want to check it out.
I happened to get a call about 2 weeks ago from a guy named Robert Black. He's the exec chef for a group called 'Good Egg'. They have 3 or 4 different restaurant concepts and think outside the box. One rest. is a place called Iron Star and features urban bbq. He's a real nice guy and didn't have a spot for me but saw my resume and had to meet and maybe sign me up down the road. Anyway, I told him about this site and he said that locals go to a site called OKCtalks. Some time soon, I'll invade the site and get more okies here. The reason I bring this up is that he might be a good contact for you as well! If I can help, let me know.
Now, more importantly, I love college football. Grew up rooting for Penn State and the Irish. Love to watch SEC, they play hard against each other and the talent pool is deep. I lived in Florida for 15 years,but, I have 3 rules for sports in general. I don't root for any team from California, I don't root for any team from Florida and, I don't root for any team named the Dallas Cowboys!
Well, that's all for now. It's nice to hear from you Nathan.
P.S. You got my vote for prez! :-)
