I moved to Atl to pursue my culinary dream and it has been a wonderfully fantastic ride. I love the art of preparing fine, nutricious food, restaurants and hospitality. But I am changing focus and completing my Marketing Degree so I can service concept and business development and causes specific to our beloved industry . In the process of getting the foot in the door .Alas, the journey begins anew. (Smile)
Looking to make friends-contacts in the industry because I miss it! I have been out of the kitchen for a year now and I have been going thru a year of withdrawal. The prodigal daughter returns....

Welcome to The School of Hospitality Business at MSU group. Do you have any particular interests or questions about the group? We're on Spring Break here at MSU this week. There should be more discussion and action in the group in the next few weeks.
Thanks for the comments Tammy, I just posted the info yesterday that was rather quick. My objective (which may build to be its own entity) is to create a social networking platform that focuses on excellence for person of color in the culinary and hospitality industry. I'm new to this site and don't know the best way to get this out but maybe thats something we can work on collectively. Please send me your e-mail so I can send you additional info. Also I would like to network you with people I know in your area. Talk to you soon.
Hi Tammy! Thanks for joining the Local, Sustainable & Green Initiative Group. We are in the process of getting our movement structure and I anticipate to start posting the action in process here in Atlanta.
