I am a native Oregon and a University of Oregon alumni. I worked in Portland for many years as a project manager for CMC Research and viaLanguage. During that time I developed my interest in food and cooking, played bass guitar in several bands, including Xing, worked as Advertising Manager for Barfly Magazine. My first and only experience before opening The One Horse Tavern as a bartender was at Billy Ray's Neighborhood Dive Bar. The One Horse has been open for almost five years now. It is my sole occupation at this time.
